Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 7, 2026
BIMFalcon ("we," "us," or "our") operates the FalconTools software product and the BIMFalcon.com website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website and software.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Contact Information: Name, email address, and company name when you purchase a license, request support, or contact us.
- Payment Information: Billing details processed through our third-party payment processor. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
- Support Communications: Messages, files, and information you provide when contacting support@BIMFalcon.com.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Analytics: Anonymous usage data such as which FalconTools features are used, frequency of use, and error reports to help us improve the product.
- Website Analytics: Standard web analytics including pages visited, browser type, device type, and referring URLs.
- License Validation: Periodic license key verification to confirm active subscriptions.
Information We Do NOT Collect
- Revit Model Data: Your Revit project files, model geometry, BIM data, and project information remain entirely on your local machine. FalconTools processes all model data locally.
2. AI Model Query Data (Planned Feature)
Model Query is a planned AI-powered feature that will be powered by Anthropic's Claude API. When this feature becomes available:
- Natural language queries and relevant model metadata (room names, element parameters, etc.) will be sent to the Claude API for processing.
- Query data will be processed in real-time and will not be stored by BIMFalcon after the response is delivered.
- Anthropic's data handling is governed by their own privacy policy and API terms. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models.
- No complete Revit model files will ever be transmitted — only the specific metadata needed to answer a query.
